I fell in love with this yarn and I love this scarf even more.  I’m calling it the peacock feather scarf because as I was knitting it really did look like peacock feathers.

The pattern was simple and easy to follow.  I did convert it into a charted pattern to make it easier for me to read.  There were no tricky parts for me other than to make sure I kept the stitch count consistent and didn’t forget any yarn overs or decreases on each row.  Every row has the YO and decreases so it’s important to keep checking your stitch count.

One change I did make to the pattern was to use a much smaller needle than called for. She originally had 6 repeats per row measuring at 14 inches.  I didn’t want a scarf nearly that wide but I wanted to keep the same number of repeats so I went down to a size 2 needle.  I kept the 62 stitch cast on (for 6 repeats) and I knit 450 rows (25 repeats of 18 row pattern).
