This is the first baby hat I made for my sister, Cindy.  She will get quite a few for Christmas.  She’s starting a photography business and wants an assortment of baby hats to use as props.  Lucky for her these are usually pretty simple and fast hats that I can throw in between my larger projects.  It also doesn’t use much yarn so she will get quite a few of hats if I have enough time.

The only complaint I have is that I choose acrylic yarns because they are cheaper (so I could get more colors) and easier care which is good for her.  I miss wool.  I love knitting with wool so much more than anything else.  I also prefer knitting with lighter weight so maybe I’m not being fair to the acrylic.
